In detail, the aim was to increase teachers' skills in the use of foreign languages through dramatization and cooperative methodologies based on inquiry, as well as on the enhancement of the CLIL methodology. 3) The acquisition of digital skills, in accordance with OS 4 of ET2020. In particular, the aim was to organize a more engaging learning and work environment for staff and students, taking advantage of all the courses and in particular the one on gamification, in addition to structured visits to schools in Scandinavian countries.
The Institute carried out a first Erasmus Plus KA1 project, which ended on 31 August 2019. The project had foreseen 13 mobilities at European level for participation in training courses on topics such as CLIL, enhancement of language skills, innovative teaching methodologies, team building . The feedback obtained from the participants in the training courses had been very positive, both as regards the contents of the courses followed and above all for the cultural experience and networking with other colleagues, so much so that all the participants had expressed their willingness to be involved in further European mobility projects. On the basis of these results, the Institute had decided to present a second European mobility project, which would expand the number of participants from 13 to 29 and which also included pedagogical visits, workshops and seminars at schools and institutes located in avant-garde countries from didactic point of view (i.e. Finland, Sweden and Norway), in order to raise awareness of good practices implemented in these countries. Furthermore, the Institute intended to exploit some opportunities that could derive from the project for the presentation of a KA2 project.
