The strategic objectives of the consortium plan which were pursued are the following: - The increase of the INTERNATIONALIZATION INDEX of each school and the development of a EUROPEAN DEVELOPMENT PLAN for each partner in the three-year period through the following areas of intervention: - European orientation of the training activities of partner schools, making the phenomenon of mobility an integral part of education and training. - Strengthening of the European dimension - functional area. - Activation of partnership and twinning projects. - Development of projects to enhance the training offer aimed at strengthening the European key competences. - Promotion of active European citizenship that is open and respectful of cultural diversity and based on common European values. - Actions aimed at the internationalization of curricula. - Achievement of international certifications. - Long-term application plan for new Erasmus accreditations (Accreditation funding 2021-27). - Improvement of English as a vehicular language.
The schools belonging to the consortium needed to be guided in acquiring the basic elements of European project management necessary to apply for winning international projects based on fundings related to education, and to enhance their European dimension by increasing their internationalization index. The comprehensive institute 13 recorded a fairly high internationalization index (75) and had already gained significant experience in European project planning and management in the previous three years. The similarities characterising the educational and organizational systems of the various schools have constituted a precious resource for the consortium and the internationalization process that has begun. The Comprehensive Institute 13 as coordinator of the consortium has proposed itself as a best practice model providing partners with specific knowledge, skills, and necessary tools to acquire the skills described above, to develop the professionalism of individual partners in the direction of the priorities for disbursement of European funding.
