We think that there must be a good coordination between teachers, parents and students in order to bring wellness and success to the students. First of all we needed more guiding and more psychological consultancy for our students in order for them to live a healthy life and become environmentally friendly people. So, guiding activities have been integrated into the school program in order to give importance to the student's development and socialization, harmony and mental health. Guiding and counseling has been considered as a clinical help to problematic pupils. We wanted to achieve these objectives : For the teachers: - develop pedagogical skills - improve communication skills through the use of different resources and become more openminded persons -improve to balance all processes in the student's life -diversify activities by considering different developmental stages and individual needs in order to improve the reasoning skills of the students -help the students to make self-assessment as a student and citizen about their duties and esponsibilities - follow the mind and emotional changes of the student - help the student to get rid of the unwanted habits - improve students' communication skills - get an ability to Prevent Conflicts - get an ability so Solve Conflicts - introduce the European aspects of education in their way of teaching (through modern methodology and materials) - get ideas from a different educational system and modern teaching methods and borrow the good things - update project web pages, blogs, etwinning or other on-line resources - have a positive attitude towards the European projects and the EU values - improve competences linked to their professional profiles - become more sociable with their school colleagues and by meeting new people - get a more active participation in society - become eager to get involved in future international events - get the feeling of being European. For the students: -be aware of themselves -improve their disciplinary skills -increase self-esteem - be able to relieve the psychological dimension and provide a new perspective when needed. -respect teachers and adults in general -respect their peers -respect the enviroment -relate together and at the same time -don't create reason of conflicts by trying to identify the interests of different parties -make self-assessment as a student and citizen about their duties and responsibilities -strengthen the sense of belonging to the school community For the school - improve the quality of the education they provide to all kind of pupils - achieve better results in all subjects - achieve better coordination and collaborative work between members of the staff - show and disseminate the pupils' and staff progress because of the international project - improve the learning environment/school ethos -higher the school profile in local, national and international
In order to develop a modern institution that could better meet the needs of our pupils, we wanted to provide modern teaching tools and equipment to our teachers, in order to increase their knowledge and professional qualifications and improve the teaching-learning process through the implementation of innovation in school management. Our school wanted to ensure that students received the best support, not only educational but also psychological, preparing them in the best possible way to be good European citizens. We have continued to update each year mainly in relation to the teaching of basic subjects and, more recently, technological learning, focusing our attention more on didactics of learning and contents than on the psychological needs of our students so we needed some training courses provided by different organizations in part of the Erasmus +projects that could give a different perspective and a different point of view: dealing with students, managing student behavior,individualizing education, organizing individual learning experiences, being flexible, opened on trying new ideas, demonstrating effective interpersonal communication skills in creating a positive educational environment, establishing positive relationships with parents. Our school has always believed a lot in the comparison and comprehension among peoples and cultures and that the knowledge of a language that is common to all European inhabitants could help knowledge, preparing them for a better future qualification. Applying in a Erasmus Ka1 project was the best way to achieve our goals.
