The project, which was led by a Consortium made up of three schools, aimed mainly at achieving one common objective, that is the improvement of professional training for the teachers belonging to the three participating institutions. In fact, since the analysis within the three schools revealed that the most in-demand skill had to do with our teachers' disciplinary competences, the project was submitted as to give them the opportunity to train in the use of innovative methodologies, in order to meet the needs of pupils with special needs as well. Moreover, the project is integrated in the internationalization process already started by the three schools through previous Erasmus+ projects, Cambridge language certifications and experiences on the e-Twinning platform. The internationalization process within the participating institutions aims at improving English language skills and promoting collaboration with institutions in other countries. In order to achieve its aims, the Consortium provided English language courses, methodology and CLIL training courses and job shadowing activities.
The schools which joined the Consortium had already been working together on subject matters such as inclusion, innovative methodologies, cultural heritage and they aimed at including internationalization activities in their collaboration. Two institutions had already gained experience in previous KA2 Projects and at least one eTwinning project but none of them had never joined KA1 Action. The Consortium believed that the school-network would have achieved stronger outcomes as well as a greater impact on its territory
