Background

The I. C. "Ernesto Monaci" of Soriano nel Cimino (which includes 16 complexes) has always been part of a context of small municipalities with a low population density, which often struggle to integrate into processes of internationalization and adaptation to the evolution of didactics. Furthermore, the relations between the Institute and local authorities have turned out to be rather weak due to the restriction of public spending due to the many and profound innovations that have been introduced in schools and on the territory (Bassanini law L.59 / 97). socio-cultural services are of medium level and encounter the same economic difficulties. The Ernesto Monaci Comprehensive Institute highlighted some needs identified both by the 2016-2019 Improvement Plan (PDM), and by a careful analysis of the factors that can affect the internal and external relations of the Institute. This survey underlined the need to raise the educational levels of multicultural classes with actions aimed at improving the quality of the educational offer, as well as to standardize the offer on all school complexes to solve the excessive territorial and social fragmentation and strengthen relationships with local authorities.
