The High School “Bernalda-Ferrandina” places itself within two cities, the city of Bernalda and Ferrandina, in the province of Matera. The Institute has decided to apply for the project "Update School Approach! New competencies for school staff: inclusion, starting working and foreign languages" in order to make changes to its teaching offer and make it more responsive to the needs of the territory and its users. In particular, the Institute aims to enhance the competences of the school staff with regard to the use of a new teaching approach that can rekindle students' motivation to study and bring them closer to the school context, reducing the phenomenon of early school leaving.
