At local and regional level, but also at national and European level, the impact expected to be achieved through the ILEADER project is twofold: 1. to bridge the existing gap, with respect to trainers, regarding the use of new media and social tools for adult education; 2. to support the achievement of the European objectives in terms of inclusive training and training innovation through the development of new initiatives and educational resources that TIA Formazione will then be able to offer to its target user base thanks to a more qualified staff. As a direct positive consequence of point 1, TIA Formazione Internazionale will therefore be able to work on the development of new initiatives aimed at involving the adult education sector, and educators in particular, not only in Italy but within an international context.
The main need was the need to strengthen the competences of the staff in order to improve both the competence and the awareness of the use of new media and the possibility of them as trainers to be able to contribute to the realisation of new training activities in order to be able to strengthen the role of TIA Training in the adult education sector both as an individual and in relation to other local and European stakeholders. In 2019, there was a clear need to strengthen these internal competences.
