The mobilities (structured courses abroad, training assignments, and job shadowing) have been designed and implemented involving the entire staff of the social enterprise. During the implementation phase of the project, the ex ante objectives, the internal work methodology of the organization and the action research model were maintained. This action research approach led us to reformulate the operational phases. External factors, not least the COVID 19 pandemic, have powerfully shifted the focus on Sintagmi's sustainability and survival over time and on the employment guarantee. The specific objectives have therefore been reformulated: increasing the organizational and professional competences to re-imagine a future through social innovation and the internationalization of social enterprise. To do this, it was necessary to develop a mentality open to change and capable of facing complexity, using the new digital languages, developing a greater familiarity with the English language and the different cultures in Europe, in a common European vision. On a practical level, we have set ourselves the goal that every mobility would give rise to a new concrete opportunity. We have learned, from every mobility experience, how to evolve individually and from an organizational point of view with a virtuous model of exponential growth in impacts.
Our objective was to contribute, thanks to the project, to making our organization an even more innovative, dynamic, committed and professional environment in a contemporary sense: ready to integrate good practices and new methods into daily activities; open to synergies with organizations from social, educational and business sectors at an international level. EX ante OBJECTIVES: 1) pursue truly innovative and effective ways for the inclusion in educational processes of people with fewer opportunities 2) Develop synergies between educational, health and social business sectors with positive impact on individuals and community, through the lens of social innovation and gender perspective 3) Research innovative and effective ways for inclusive educational processes of people with fewer opportunities and risk of social exclusion, with a strong emphasis on healthy community life 4) Spread an integrated approach where people's resources are at the center of the educational and local development processes 5) Develop the ability to operate in a European and international context. To strengthen our professional capacity and our interventions in the socio-educational field, the most appropriate partnerships, professional skills and methodologies have been identified from the beginning and step by step. To ensure the effectiveness of individual staff mobility, we have furthermore identified international good practices and innovative social enterprises. We have strategically planned the professional development of our staff taking into consideration individual needs and organizational objectives, to be able to develop educational and social opportunities at an international level. To do this, it was necessary to challenge ourselves in different environments and contexts, understanding the skills gaps to be bridged. Our approach at the basis of this project is, therefore, the typical spiral model of action research: PLAN, ACT, OBSERV, REFLECT. plan activities taking into account our strengths and weaknesses; realize the first mobilities; observe and verify the results; reflect on the next step and reformulate objectives and expected results; plan subsequent mobilities; and so continuing step by step. Particular attention is paid to the competences gap to be developed, therefore addressed through new mobility abroad with partners able to provide useful blended courses or to involve us in their working methods. The two moments, participation in training activities or job shadowing, saw us collaborate with partners to acquire in the field, from them and the successful experiences identified, new competences and possibilities to conceive, design , implement, evaluate transnational new projects. We have highlighted the acquisition of transversal skills that can be acquired and identified in this operational and informal learning mode.
