With this project the aim was to: - provide teachers and secretarial staff with tools and skills for self-training and internal peer training, making our staff more aware of their role in the institution, thanks to positive contacts and comparison with colleagues from other European countries and thanks to other participants' feedbacks. - improve English skills to at least B1 level for all school staff. - acquire new digital skills for a better use of multimedia tools, for the creation of video-lessons and blended learning paths to integrate face-to-face teaching, increasing enthusiasm and energy of teachers. - a more aware management of multi-ethnic classes. - enrich the managerial and organizational skills of the management staff.
Bearing in mind our mission and our European Development Plan, we applied for this project in order to meet the training needs of the school staff, to strengthen their language skills in English - a bridging language for many of our students, to renew our teaching methods also through the use of new technologies, thus reducing early school leaving, to better manage cultural differences between students, and in general to learn good management and organizational practices from other European schools for adults.
