Objectives

This project aims to promote social inclusion, especially for people with disabilities, and LGTB, creating a campaign to raise awareness of exclusion and any kind of discrimination. It aims to promote volunteering, a fundamental element in every community, trying to increase the number of volunteers in Italy and in the partner country. The young participants will learn to transmit an optimistic attitude towards life that will later be transmitted to those affected by any kind of discrimination or exclusion, from bullying to motor disability. Thanks to this initiative, the members of both associations will meet local authorities, highlighting those elements represented by architectural barriers that hinder the participation of disabled people in the activities in their community, highlighting those that for a person do not affected by any kind of disability may not represent any kind of problem, but for a person affected by motor dysfunction may represent a form of discrimination and exclusion from social life in the community to which they belong. Through this project we want to improve the initiative spirit of the participants, encouraging the development of active citizenship. The project aims to sensitize people towards the problem of disability, and towards social inclusion and volunteering. If it will be approved, as we hope it will happen, the participants will increase their skills also in communication in English, which is nowadays a fundamental element in their training.
