The second edition of the project "We are EUrope" pursues and extends the objectives of the first edition. The project aims to raise attention and sensibility among young people for the values and the future of Europe, 60 years after the Treaty of Rome and one year after the 30th anniversary of Erasmus programs. In 2019 we will continue the work already begun in 2018, with the scope to apply and develop methods of peer education that participants can then implement in their home countries and organisations. What we want to achieve is to render young people multipliers for a constructive vision of Europe, focussed on liberty, tolerance, equality, solidarity and human rights. We focus on the empowerment of young participants from diverse cultural backgrounds and fewer opportunities. The objectives are oriented at realization of the aims of the Erasmus+ programs: to induce young people to participate at the democratic life in Europe, to facilitate active citizenship, social integration and intercultural dialogue. From our point of view young people are the key for a unified EUROPE. They are the future of Europe. They will be Europe. Or better to say: They already ARE Europe. The project "We are EUrope" helps them to understand their key role for Europe, to discover the possibilities to make Europe their own, to build a strong and peaceful Europe, based on common values and interests.
