Grow in the valley is a mobility project aimed to satisfy the need of protagonism of the young people involved through their empowerment, identifying in sustainable development a current theme that contains many issues related to the rights we deal with and about which youngsters ask us to stand up. The side from which we propose to address the issue of development is how the actions carried out by a community fall on the others and what skills are necessary to give our actions an ethically sustainable impact. Grow in the Valley seek to address the objectives of: Objective 1 - deepening the knowledge of the concept of sustainable development and the 2030 agenda, allow participants to identify and acquire the skills necessary for a culture of democracy. Objective 2 - stimulate the intercultural dialogue capacity of the participants through a series of learning experiences that analyze and valorise history, customs and traditions, helping to understand and accept diversity. Objective 3 - increase at the level of individuals and groups the capacity to participate, as determination and instruments for political action aimed at a more equitable and responsible society. Starting from the analysis of the 2030 agenda goals, the participants will examine the economic, social and environmental aspects of the societies they come from, comparing their contradictions and challenges and verifying if they go in the direction of sustainable development. The scenario in which the project will take place is Val Camonica, with its natural and cultural UNESCO heritage.
