The main theme of the project "restART in Nature: tools for youth inclusion and community development" is to facilitate and improve the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities through the use of art and creativity as practical tools (Murals and Graffiti, Graphic art, Comics journalism, Photography, Video animation, etc.) and the Nature (Nature Reserves, Parks, green protected areas, Pedagogical Farms, etc.) as perfect playground able to support youth participation and community development. For this reason, the project will take place in Abruzzo (in particular, the coastal area in the county of Chieti that include 7 Nature Reserve and a National Park) that is one of the most green Region of Europe and may represent an interesting example in which to combine artistic interference, youth engagement and a sustainable community life. Objectives that partners would like to achieve are: - to share experiences, good practice, innovative methodologies/approaches and case studies developed by each partner at the local level able to explore the interaction among art/creativity, Nature, youth inclusion and community development; - to develop a methodological and educational platform able to define innovative and common strategies, approaches, actions and tools in the youth work realised daily by youth workers and youth organisations to facilitate processes of involvement, inclusion and engagement of young people; - to train youth and social workers, youth artists, educators, youth animators, responsible of youth organizations and youth centres, peer educators, volunteers with innovative approaches in order to facilitate and improve both inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and community development; -to acquire new competences, skills and methodologies through an educational path in which to use art and creativity as practical tools (Murals and Graffiti, Graphic art, Comics journalism, Video animation, etc.) and the Nature (Nature Reserves, Parks, green protected areas, etc.) as perfect playground; - to give directly to young people the possibility to express and expose their point of you and creativity through the realisation of different workshops using graphic art tools and sustainable development topics in order to encourage, empower and enhance at European level their active citizenship; - to plan and realise future projects under the frame work of ERASMUS+ Programme as a further way of inclusion for young people - realise an handbook entitled “Bitta Generation” in which to collect all the results and products done by participants during the whole educational process.
