RUN4INCLUSION is a multilateral youth exchange that will take place in kumanovo from 5/10 to 13/10 2019 and in Tortona from 25/11 to 3/12 2019, and it will involve 24 young people aged between 18 and 25 years old and 7 youth workers/group leaders, coming from 6 different european countries (Macedonia, UK, Spain, Poland, Ireland, and Italy). The project will develop around the topic RUN as a new challenge towards hospitality, cooperation and integration of new migration flows in Europe. Sport has been identified as a support and bonding element of the policies in support of refugees by the most important and influential authorities: sport is a universal and inclusive language that brings together people and gives value to diversity. Sport has an enormous educational potential to help disadvantaged youth, including migrants, to integrate in society. This is also a specific objective of the European commission and of the Erasmus Plus program. Through sport activity, we will get to know the journeys and roads that brought to Europe millions of young migrants: the exchange will be a 9 days journey dedicated to the sport that connects and brings together, but also dedicated to reflect on the issues and challenges that future poses to the new generations. We will try to trace the framework of a new multicultural Europe as it is emerging at the beginning of the third millennium, finding in sports a concrete and positive answer to nationalism, radicalization, stereotypes, xenophobia and the fear of others. Moreover, the fundamental role of sports in the media makes them a springboard for sharing those ideas, values and messages that we want to promote through this project. It is with and through RUN, meter after meter, training after training... that we aim at changing the world, inspiring, breaking down barriers and creating hope.
