We have decided to involve partner’s organization participants from the conceptual phase of the exchange project as to let them be the protagonists in defining and bringing out their needs and desires and further more to let them experiment their skills in re-imagining European’s urban city spaces dedicated to them. AGAPE Onlus has noticed, in line with the European priorities, the need to activate an intervention that allows young European inhabitants, including those at risk of social exclusion to re-imagine and re-define a city able to respond young people needs and to return them their social role. The objective of the "Euthful Cities" project is to work with young European inhabitants and in synergy with their organizations, to make them protagonists of a co-planned activity starting from the structure of European cities late 50s urbanization but in an international and multicultural perspective, ready to respond to their needs and desires. The young participants will be actors and directors of the vision of a resilient urbanization, which will review its spaces according to an inclusive perspective of all differences (cultural, physical, religious, gender, etc.) technological, climate friendly and in general responding to the needs of nowdays young European inhabitants. The methodologies applied in the project aim to involve young participants in the process of imagination and planning more "Youth friendly" European cities; the emergence of their vision will take place in a non-judgmental environment in order to integrate all participant’s different needs and vision. The Cinema and Videomaking workshops will be instruments for reaching new knowledge, an opportunity to exchange good practices and awareness among young people who will be able to discover the past of their European cities thanks to videos and short films. During the Videomaking Lab they will re-imagine their spaces and become actors and directors of their own vision of a "Youth friendly "urbanization starting from the case study of the "Città dei Ragazzi" in Rome. The aim of the activities that young people have defined, will experiment and they will experience are aimed for activating their self-determination and proactive participation but also the tolerance necessary to collaborate in a team that includes any kind of diversity (social, physical, cultural, gender, etc.). These skills and know-how acquired will be valuable for their personal growth and will help them feel involved as active European citizens, including those with fewer opportunities.
