The aim of the Intercultural Bridge project is to create inclusion throught expansion of the knowledge of folk traditions, combining the pleasure of dancing with the awareness of other realities. The dance creates relationships between the subjects involved, making bonds and syntonies. Moreover, it offers important moments of meeting and cultural exchange allowing the involved young people to live and increase their own socializing skills in an international context, breaking down prejudices and stereotypes. This means, combined with tradition, creates a BRIDGE which joints the different cultures inasmuch as each people has its own tradition made up of music, dances and typical musical instruments. Therefore, the project intends to enhance these folklores, get them know to territory that usually does not have the privilege of internationalization and Europeanization. Music favors the "wellfare" of the participants in a group, understood just like the pleasure of being and doing things together; predisposes favorably to other forms of learning, stimulates concentration and attention, increases the ability to relate and interact with others. For these reasons an proposal for youth exchange focused on music and popular dances, declined in targeted activities and adapted to the context and objectives that we want to achieve, becomes useful even to integrate a group of foreign participants and even to treat and prevent forms of discrimination and social desease. The importance that will be given to the individual cultures will in turn useful to the valorisation of all the territories involved in the project, aiming to identify ideas for development and improvement in the countries which each participant comes from. the objectives of the Intercultural Bridge project are to: - increase the quality of the interaction between young people and the human and social environment of concerned, promoting the development of ideas and actions to be carried out even at the end of the project, - boost up awareness of the importance of European citizenship among young people from EU members; - implement specific educational and social activities and promote the cooperative development of other activities already planned - Promote intercultural exchange and enhance the richness of diversity, also with a view to preventing xenophobic and radical behavior; - Reinforce the sense of territorial belonging of the young participants, of every single organization; - facilitate the access of young people to the opportunities offered by the Erasmus plus program
