The project "Young people on the road" will see the participation of n. 30 participants, with the support of 7 young leaders, and will see the participation of n. 6 countries: Italy, Croatia, Spain, Hungary, Bulgaria and Greece. The ski will take place in Abruzzo on 07.09.2019 to 11.09.2019 in Ovindoli, mountain center of Sirente Velino Regional Park. The idea to realize this project, for projects and actions aimed at the tourist enhancement of our mountain territories. We are in Abruzzo, the green region of Italy, in an area that boasts the presence of the National Park of Abruzzo, the Sirente-Velino Regional Park and numerous Natural Reserves, which make it unique both from the point of view of environmental values, of the socio-cultural ones, where the quality of life and the business values still present and shared. The orographic features, the lack of infrastructures have preserved these territories which are at the same time a serious phenomenon of depopulation, on the part of young people looking for work, with the theme of the impoverishment of the territory. Ambecò, which operates in various Parks and Reserves thanks to the Environmental Education Centers, has been committed to promoting responsible tourism in a circular economy economy for some years. L.R. n. 52/2017 for "the recognition, valorisation and promotion of the Abruzzo routes", which aims to promote sustainable tourism development, has allowed us to focus our attention on the enhancement of the routes. Valorizing a Way is an active learning process, raising awareness of the population by activating active participation initiatives, undertaking economic resources, promoting new and / or alternative business activities, carrying out and evaluating reception facilities, implementing shared intervention procedures among more territories, etc. It has undertaken numerous initiatives to promote a new approach to sustainable tourism on the enhancement of the paths. Thanks also to the opportunities offered by Europe with the Erasmus + Program, Ambecò has realized an EVS project in 2018 and a project of the European Solidarity Body, aimed precisely at the enhancement of the Paths. The present project of exchange of opinions, also infecting other European realities, once again, another of economic revival for their territories. Our partners enthusiastically embraced the idea of this purpose on the Roads, sharing their objectives, included in the European Strategy 2020: - develop awareness among young people on the importance of environmental sustainability, improving their level of skills and employability; - promote intercultural dialogue and tolerance among young people by giving them the opportunity to come into contact with different cultures, strengthening the concept of friendship and solidarity; - advantage of the development of economic thought, strengthening the concept of sustainability as an opportunity for economic development; - expand the cultural horizons and the European systems, making them aware of the value of diversity and of Europe, including through the improvement of language skills.
