The proposal of the project "One, no one hundred thousand truths" is born in a specific historical phase, where globalization, migration, technological acceleration and massification of digital tools are producing fundamental contradictions, between emancipation / democratization on the one hand and relativism / new coercion 'else. A context devoid of Truth with a capital V, but in continuous production of points of view and partial truths, which often degenerate into real communication barbarism, soaked with false news and exploitation, aimed at arousing feelings and emotions, leading to an impoverishment of democratic public space. In this context critical thinking and media literacy play a fundamental role as a form of building a "think global act local" world of fundamental rights guaranteed for all, but respecting and enhancing cultural diversity. Starting from the experience of diversity (among the participants) and the reality of the national media perceived by the children of each country, the exchange will introduce the theme of truth, problematizing it gradually starting from the post-truth, the concept of information and the need for to affirm a plural point of view (so many truths) but not relativistic (every affirmation is true), mystifying (starting from real data) or non-arguable (documentable). Critical thinking about information and the media as a global need for the exercise of active and responsible citizenship. Therefore, through activities focused on non-formal education, role-playing games, debates and peer-to-peer learning among people with different cultures and experiences, a dialogue perspective can emerge, aimed at coexistence and respect, but at the same time conscious and critical towards the problems of our time. This will lead to overcoming stereotypes and prejudices, in a context where gradually even the "groups" themselves will be contaminated going to constitute a single large group that works, plays, knows each other. After the success of the previous exchange held with Spaniards and Portuguese, for this youth exchange we wanted to enlarge the number of countries and cultures involved, with associations that work with young people daily and feel the same needs for debate, feedback on issues and comparison with reality and "other" cultures promoting pear-to-pear contamination and education. Summing up the objectives of the project, we can also see the parallel with the specific objectives for the KA1 youth mobility projects 2019: - to promote critical awareness of information; - supporting intercultural dialogue; -power the ability to relate; - promote critical thinking and the co-construction of viable alternatives; - raise awareness of the transversal risks and abuses of communication 2.0 and 3.0; - develop "alert" skills with respect to violent communications and the production of hate speech; - encourage listening to the other; - to promote a change in daily practices in favor of non-violent relationality; - to promote the multiplication and dissemination of good practices.
