The main aim of the project was to provide teachers from different schools with access to varied further training offers in the field of teaching development and digitalisation. Digitisation in the broadest sense, especially the use and application of new media in the classroom, was the focus of the project. Both methodological and didactic aspects were to be taken into account. The project participants teach at different levels and with different devices. Thus, not only the use of ipads but also of laptops is planned. In addition to digitalisation, it should also be possible to further develop and deepen projects from the last consortium project. In particular, STEM promotion, which is also a long-term goal in the Liechtenstein educational landscape, should be emphasised. Both structured further training and job shadowing activities should serve to achieve this goal.
The Liechtenstein Gymnasium started small in 2014 with a first project of 4 teacher mobilities. Over the years, the interest in mobilities both at their own school and from other schools in the country grew and so, after a first successful consortium project, another consortium project was submitted in 2019. This project should continue to enable smaller schools to have teachers participate in Erasmus+ projects. An additional motivation for submitting the project was the definitive introduction of the new, competence-oriented curriculum (LiLe) from the 2019 school year and the associated promotion of digitalisation in Liechtenstein. A greater need for further training at various levels for teachers became apparent.
