Background

The project for the improvement and mobility of teachers' pedagogical qualifications "Learning motivation - guaranteeing individual progress" was inspired by the weaknesses identified in the self-evaluation reports of the gymnasium's activities, the needs for improving the quality of the gymnasium's activities, its internationalization needs, the need for improving the qualifications of employees and the organizational development tasks provided for in the school's 2019-2021 Strategic Plan and Erasmus+KA1 program objectives. In the strategic documents of the gymnasium, it was noted that one of the weaknesses of the gymnasium is the small number of students who had reached a higher level and the decreasing motivation of students to learn. In later self-evaluation report, after data analysis it was found that the main factors determining the growth of student motivation are: a positive teacher-student relationship (good microclimate, motivating educational environment), the application of various teaching methods, and appropriate conditions for the student to experience success. In order to fill the gaps in the educational process, it was decided to seek help in international courses and work observation visits and to acquire appropriate experience to strengthen the learning motivation. The broad and in-depth self-evaluations of the quality of gymnasium activities show a stable and slightly increased motivation of students to learn. https://rokugimnazija.lt/administracine-informacija/tyrimai
