The goal of the project was to improve the German language skills of a German teacher by participating in structured courses aimed for German as a foreign language teachers from different countries of the world, to supplement skills in German language teaching methodology and didactics, to obtain up-to-date information about Austria (life, education, culture, politics, the labour market, etc.) and the educational and employment opportunities that are provided for young people, as well as to gain experience within international communication and intercultural understanding. As a result of the project, to have a positive impact on the teaching and learning levels, to increase the quality of the project participant's work and competitiveness within the labour market, as well as to promote the opportunities provided by Erasmus + mobility projects among colleagues encouraging them to participate in future projects.
The implemented project fully corresponds to the vision of our educational institution - a modern, in-demand service VET establishment; its mission - to give the students the opportunity to acquire qualitative education and professional competencies in order to be integrated into today's rapidly changing labour market; and school working strategy - to provide qualitative, innovative preparation of training process motivated and labour market competitive specialists. It is also fully in line with the specific idea of Erasmus+: the EU linguistic diversity promotion, intercultural understanding, quality, innovation excellence and internationalisation. This project was a great opportunity for the project participant to study in an international environment together with colleagues from another countries; to improve skills within the specific professional field; to create new cooperation ways; to exchange experience.
