The main goals of the PIKC "Liepājas Valsts tehnikums" students' internship project "International internship - the beginning of a successful career" were: -improve the professional knowledge, skills and abilities of the project participants by implementing part of the training / qualification practice in Spain, Germany, Portugal and England. -promote the attractiveness of participants' vocational education and training, which can be realized with a person mobility, giving young people the opportunity to practice in foreign companies; -promote the acquisition of a foreign language; to expand and promote co - operation between education, training institutions and business by developing new cooperation contacts and models
PIKC "Liepājas Valsts tehnikums" has already implemented several Erasmus + projects in the core activity of KA1 (learning mobility vocational education sector), and based on the previous positive experience and benefits from the project results, PIKC LVT wanted to continue the good practice. Given the great interest of students in the possibilities of Erasmus + internships, a project application was submitted in order to be able to provide internships abroad for the largest possible audience of students.
