The idea of the project is to organize training sessions for adult educators of partner institutions during which they will share the experience of the country’s approaches to fostering entrepreneurship for families. The aim of the project is to develop collection of good practices and ideas "How to improve the spirit of entrepreneurial activity for families"

Objectives

Entrepreneurship is defined as one of the EU's key competences. The partners considered that the development of entrepreneurship in the educational process depends to a large extent on adult educators. They face certain difficulties because they lack an understanding of family entrepreneurship development opportunities, they lack the relevant experience and they do not know what resources they could use for this purpose. Entrepreneurship learning programs are formal, but they need to be more practice-oriented. The Strategic Partnership was set up to address these challenges and develop good practice in entrepreneurship-based adult learning. With this project, we wanted to understand the possibilities of promoting the entrepreneurship of families through educational means. We wanted to raise the awareness of adult educators and give them concrete inspiring examples. As a result of the project, we wanted to create a collection of good practices "How to promote entrepreneurship for families".

Background

A strong, socially and economically independent family is one of the most important preconditions for the existence of any society. Families have not a significant impact only on the well-being of society and the state, but also maintain demographic stability, ensure socialization and independent life for children and young people. Many families face difficulties. These are internal disagreements between family members, poor material conditions, communication problems in the local community. Instead of looking for solutions, family members are passively waiting for help or making questionable decisions. Strong families that are able to successfully implement their life plans are important in the context of demographics. All partners have a bad demographic situation - the population is still aging, and the balance of international migration is also negative. Lack of entrepreneurship is the reason why adults are unable to deal with unemployment, engage in education to acquire new skills and update existing ones. Adult educators often face disadvantaged families. They need more knowledge and skills on how to support these families and how to promote their entrepreneurship. The project was launched to identify opportunities to support families, promote their entrepreneurship and well-being, and thus contribute to improving demographic and socio-economic processes.
