Both partner organizations already have a very successful and publicly recognized experience. The "Sound of Youth 2" project is a continuation of the youth exchange project "Sound of Youth", which took place in Latvia in the summer of 2018. With this project we want to go further than before, also challenging ourselves. We will use two tools that young people prefer: theater and music (percussion) to reach young people with fewer opportunities and promote their participation and other young people. We also want to learn something new by living in a rural commune, as well as discussing a topic that has emerged very brightly in the previous project through various activities - gender equality. We realized that in this area, the Spanish youth is well ahead of the Latvians, so we see this project as a great opportunity to be aware of the importance of this issue in the Spanish environment. The project has 2 goals: 1) to improve young people's skills to formulate and express their opinions, emotions and attitudes; 2) to develop young people's understanding and awareness of the importance of individual participation through creative, attractive and innovative methods, and to raise awareness of the importance of gender equality.
