Objectives

During the project, the participants improved their skills and be solution oriented through sharing ideas, having discussions, doing researches, examining different sources, evaluations and group works. Prior to the project, they examined the situation in their countries regarding human rights and freedoms and during the project they shared these situations with the rest of the participants and at the same time they had a chance to learn about the situation in other countries. Next to this, each country team were responsible of leading the activities of one day and this way all participants had a chance to take initiative and participate more actively. This helped them in terms of their self-confidence and leadership skills. Another goal of our project was to contribute to the intercultural dialogue. To do this, we gave each country to have their own cultural night during the project in which they were able to promote their own cultures in their own style. For example, they were able to show others their natural and cultural beauties, traditional dances, popular or traditional food and drinks, etc. This helped all participants learn more about different cultures and lifestyles and be more international individuals.
