Background

The project “New kind of bridges - out of the box” is an extension of the efforts our school makes to create learning environments which engage students’ hearts and minds, and provide real-world relevance for learning, as well as, develop and enhance staff competences and improve cooperation and collaboration with parents in order to build stronger relationships. As a primary school we devote ourselves in being active and try to develop our student’s sense in different areas by undertaking a lot of projects inside the school as well as taking part in wide range of projects outside the school (local, national and international). At the same time, every successful school should pay particular attention to planning and providing a continuous professional development to its staff, which is considered to be one of the key preconditions to a quality education, effective teaching and learning and attaining high achievements. Continuous professional development means gaining new and improving the already existent teachers' competences which are important in 21st century education.
