By implementing the project, we want to enable teachers to develop knowledge about IT educational use in Europe and in the world: integration policies, results and practical outcomes, e-learning tools, flexible teaching methods based on useful coding tools and integration in school`s curriculums. By implementing the project, our teachers will make programming more visual and will implement in their plan, will prepare lessons based on programming, will deliver new contents and monitor and assess student performance. By implementing the project, we want our teachers to know how to: prepare material to each educational process activities, to use different teaching and learning approaches, methodologies, and associated classroom management techniques, to maximize the benefits of the use of this new educational resources and to break down traditional barriers. By implementing the project, we want to increase collaboration with colleagues from other countries, improve the knowledge and skills of teachers, increase the motivation and interest in students’ learning and raise the quality and reputation of the school. By implementing the project, we want to increase the job satisfaction as part of the creation of a more highly motivated staff as a natural benefit of mobility, while travelling and the experiences it brings will bring a sense of well-being and satisfaction. As a result, the entire school will be more focused and effective.
"Partenija Zografski" is a vocational high school for deaf students. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) teaching and learning is an integrated part from education in our school, because our students are educated in technical science, in mechanical and textile profession. STEM engages students and equips them with critical thinking, problem solving, creative and collaborative skills, and ultimately establishes connections between the school, work place, community and the global economy. Coding and robotics can play an important part in motivating and exciting students into learning STEM subjects. Coding is a basic literacy in the digital age, and students need to understand and work with and understand the technology around them. Through robotics, students can learn more than just how to code. Robotics makes STEM simple and fun to learn. That`s why, the teachers from our school needed training for teaching methods and strategies for implementing the Programming, Coding, Robotics, teaching methods and strategies with the goal to improve self – learning process but especially to raise the quality of education.
