Human trafficking is a global problem and one of the world's most shameful crimes, affecting the lives of millions of people around the world and robbing them of their dignity. Traffickers deceive women, men, and children from all corners of the world and force them into exploitative situations every day. Christians have become increasingly significant players in activism to end human trafficking even though Christian anti-trafficking activism and advocacy is marked by considerable internal variation. FREE IN DEED FID will offer to vulnerable Christian youth the opportunity to learn about the issue of human trafficking and raise awareness about it here in Malta for 1 week and in their countries with the knowledge built through this experience. CCIF is going to empower 50 performing arts youths from 6 Christian youth groups to combat human trafficking. FID aims to use Christian views of freedom, justice, and worship as key to them being promoters and advocators of human trafficking. The group is going to perform 2 public presentations more that will be live streamed.
