By participating in this project, the Lentiz locations involved: Floracollege, Reviuslyceum, Groen van Prinstererlyceum and VMBO Maasland wanted to gain specific knowledge that matched the training needs of their employees. The goals differed somewhat from those in the application because the training needs changed over time. The ultimate goals sought to be achieved are: - To explore the Finnish education system and the Kunskapsskolan method in Sweden. With the aim of gaining knowledge and skills that can be used within one's own organization. Among other things, focusing on digital technology, personalized education and student guidance. - Gaining specific knowledge in the field of behavioral problems, such as discrimination, bullying and racism by following a specialized training and learning from the participants of the training coming from abroad. - Strengthening and expanding the international network with the aim of mutual internationalization activities between Lentiz and it's partners.
The Lentiz educational group has innovative, high quality education as a starting point, whereby the education prepares the students for a place in our (increasingly global) society. A society with actors who expect them to be interculturally competent, involved in their living environment (sustainability/inclusion), highly independent and manageable in the digital world. To be able to offer such education, it is necessary that employees have knowledge and skills that match this ambition. Gaining knowledge/skills and experiences in an international setting is of great importance to be able to develop education that prepares students for our global world. Internationalization is not a goal in itself, but an important means to realize the goal. The project offers employees the opportunity to professionalize in a way that suits the identity and needs of the school location. Besides knowledge, Lentiz wants to expand and strengthen its international networks to be able to offer an international experience to more and more students and staff members in the future.
