Through this project, ROC Ter AA wants to offer all students and professionals of the various colleges and services within the school access to internships, exchanges and network visits in Europe, where they gain experiences and share experiences in the field of other (work) cultures. As a result, knowledge and insight will change and they can better put themselves in their (future) professional field in the Netherlands and in Europe. Experiences and knowledge that students and teachers gain in Europe will be able to be used to maintain the strong economic position of Brainport, among others. Through this project, the student will also develop more self-confidence, independence and perseverance, which can increase the intrinsic motivation for the study. This can make a positive contribution to preventing the student from leaving the study program early.
ROC Ter AA would like to train their staff and students internationally competently. For students who are actively engaged in the development of international competences, European mobility and cooperation in a European context contribute to this competence development at an increased pace. This can be done through cooperation projects with other European schools, but certainly also through internships in foreign training companies. In order to be able to guide our students in the coming years in developing international competences and good global citizenship, it is of great importance that our employees become internationally competent and continue to develop in this. In order for these employees to develop on international competences, European mobility and collaborations with educational institutions and (international) companies abroad are of great importance. The described activities have been realized for both students and employees.
