An international internship aims to prepare a student for an international job market, but also to offer more challenges that can be valuable for working in the Netherlands. Without an Erasmus+ subsidy, an international internship would not be possible for most students.
The Graphic Lyceum Rotterdam GLR is a professional institution “VET” for Media Design andTechnology. The GLR is driven by a continuous ambition to provide high-quality and innovative vocational education for students in the creative industry. The creative industry knows hardly any geographical boundaries, the official language is often English and the visual language is international. The GLR has taken advantage of many opportunities that enable us to provide innovative and high-quality education. The foreign partners recognize this, which makes the GLR an attractive cooperation partner for them. An internship is an integral part of all GLR courses. An international internship gives the internship just that little bit more meaning. Students come back with different and more social skills that will put them more firmly in the international labor market. Erasmus+ grant makes it possible for every student to gain international experience. That is why the GLR has always given the international interns the full amount of what the mobility tool indicates.
