Objectives

MAIN TOPICS of INspire are INCLUSION - EQUITY, GENDER EQUALITY and EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES, CREATIVITY AND CULTURE, but it is also connected to PUBLIC ACTIVISM, and INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE with a focus on a group with fewer opportunities (social disadvantages) - LGBT+. Our belief is that inclusion starts from the inside, not from the outside – firstly, participants need to accept they are part of the society. We support them by creating a safe space where youngsters can recognize their inner strength and creativity and have a space to explore their identity. Through this space, we encourage youngsters to find their balance and place in society. We will use methods of non-formal education – art (drawing, dancing, writing, theatre, music, body movement, and storytelling), coaching and mentoring, workshops, learning by doing, creativity, self-reflection, peer to peer learning. Our main OBJECTIVES are: A) To bring together 14 young people to APV, making sure that 50 % of the group is with fewer opportunities. B) To bring together 35 young people while making sure that 80 % of them are from the LGBT+ community (eg. with fewer opportunities) in the main activities. C) The 35 participants to develop new skills and competencies through non-formal learning: embodied art sessions, field trips, media creation activities, workshops, educational games, and performances. D) To exchange about the challenges, issues and positive actions in their local communities regarding the LGBT+ spectrum. E) To empower participants in their self-expression, self-acceptance, and creativity. F) The 7 partner organization and hosting organization to broaden their network and acquire new tools and skills in order to address their target group’s need for social inclusion. G) To produce an art exhibition based upon personal stories of participants which will be exhibited online and in their national countries. H) To ensure that evaluation will happen during the whole project timeline through 35 YouthPasses, 35 questionnaires (1/participant) and 7 interviews (1/partner).
