Civil Stage is a follow up to The Art of Facilitation (AoF, 2017-1768) and aims to use performative arts in youth work based on the pedagogic principles of human rights. All organisations involved are active in organising activities for and interacting with local youth, most with fewer opportunities. This facilitation is sometimes challenging if a youth worker is not confident how to facilitate. With the skills of improv and forum theatre they will be able to be more spontaneous and respond to the requests of their target groups. The objectives of all phases of Civil Stage are therefore as follows: - To understand and apply facilitation of HRE in the reality of the youth workers; - To gain youth workers experience in non-formal education as an inspiration for facilitation; - To create new improv theatre methods for daily facilitation by the youth workers; - To equip youth workers with forum theatre skills to facilitate HRE activities to increase active citizenship of youth; - To develop and implement action plans by the participants in their organisation's context; - To evaluate the activities organised; - To develop and implement spin-off projects and follow-up activities at a local, regional and European level.
