In a world of rising international, intercultural and religious tensions, we wish to spread positive counter-acts by bringing youth from different backgrounds together and facilitating the development of connections between them. During the past few years, Buitendoor and its partner-organizations of the Outdoors As a Tool-network have gained great experience and professionalism in organizing youth camps, trainings and exchanges. We have come to realize that adventure, in all possible forms, has the power to bring people together by reaching deep (emotional) levels independent of their cultures and beliefs. We now aim to combine all adventure tools gathered by the different partner-organizations into one ultimate exchange program: "Outdoors as a Tool: Connection Through Adventure".
