Our objective with implementing this project was to achieve a better understanding by job- shadowing at other schools with similar challenges regarding racism and discrimination. By reflecting on these challenges, and also becoming aware of our own attitudes on these subjects, we wanted to expand our knowledge and awareness that could be used constructively in our teaching at our own school.
Since our school has a diversity of different pupils, it was important for us to learn more about different kinds of discrimination and racism, and how to be able to understand better other cultures and to promote tolerance.
