Objectives

The main objective has been to provide opportunities for pupils, apprentices, students and staff to gain international experience, increase skills and competences while also giving a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence. Furthermore, interacting across borders provides new ideas, impulses, and perspectives. A separate objective was to help combat early school leaving in upper secondary education. At project start, the overall goal was that at least 79 percent of all pupils in upper secondary schools should fulfil and complete their education by 2021. The aim was that this project, through motivating you pupils, would have a positive impact and perhaps contribute to the overall effort in combating early school leaving. This project was made up of several sub-projects where upper secondary school, higher vocation education school, VET companies and businesses planned to carry out mobility activities for VET pupils, apprentices, VET students, and staff. Some activities planned for long-term mobilities for VET students, while others planned for short-term mobilities for VET pupils and staff. The expected impact and outcome for the participant was linked to the specific activity they took part in.
