We wanted to get students who are better equipped to participate in the social discourse around multicultural society, and understand the importance of good relationships. We wanted more people to want to become/remain skilled workers. For us it is important that the project contributes to providing us with proud skilled workers with reinforced key competencies.
We applied for funding for this project to, among other things, strengthen the pupils' key competences, stimulate in-depth learning, strengthen the relationships between pupils, but also between pupil and teacher. We wanted students to experience their profession exercised in a different culture under different conditions and within other frameworks. We want this to contribute to an increased capacity for reflection on our own performance of the profession. We wanted to enhance their faith in their own competence and thereby strengthen professional pride, and that more people should want to become skilled workers.
