Objectives

We wanted to make internationalisation a more integrated part of our school, and to make it relevant for more students in more programs. We believe that internationalisation is a great way to expand the minds of people and to make students' education even more relevant. We also wanted to make our students more culturally aware and increase their competence within their field of work.

Background

We applied for this project because we have done similar VET-projects since 2017 with great success. Our aim is to make internationalisation an integrated part of being a student at Eilert Sundt Upper Secondary School. To achieve that, we have increased our number of VET-mobilities each year, and continue doing so. Firstly, we aimed to increase the status for car mechanics and building and construction and make them more relevant. With this project, we aimed to include most of our VET-programs to continue our process in making internationalisation relevant for all of our VET-students (and with later projects also SCH-students).
