In this project we would like to continue our work with remembrance education, and let events of the past inform how we view situations of the present. We are aiming to focus on refugees and other forced migrants, learn about the timelessness of forced migration, and try to explore the mindset and feelings of people who have to uproot their lives and flee. The concrete objectives of the project, which we are aspiring to reach, include: - To learn about forced migration, its causes and consequences; - To encourage democratic participation of young people through participation in all phases of an international exchange project; - To stimulate and support the involvement of young people in a community by learning how to use your voice with creativity and art; - To foster friendships among young people from different countries and backgrounds. The project addresses the themes of inclusion, human rights, social justice, active participation, and remembrance education.
