Background

The implementation of the project addressed the current needs of the school staff in the field of improving digital competences, knowledge of English as well as introducing into school curricullum CLIL teaching. These stemmed from: a. national reforms of Polish education system extended primary education up to the age of 15 and caused migrations of teachers from other types of schools who had to adapt to the new teaching environment. b. Location of the school next to a large city center (Lublin) and competing with other schools in terms of the educational offer. In the face of the demographic decline, this has become extremely important. c. Providing the school with modern digital equipment and the needs of its operation and use by teachers during classes. d. Inclusion of digital competences among the key competences recommended by MEiN (Ministry of Education) , especially searching, selecting and processing information. e. The need to communicate and form partnership with UE institutions, use of international platforms and services, and prepare young people for student exchanges and implementation of international educational, cultural and integration programs in the future.
