Through the realization. of the project SP 2 wanted to achieve a lasting impact on the quality, innovation and efficiency of the institution's work by developing teaching competences and implementation of training results and acquired skills to work during the project and long-term perspective in: 1) Didactics 2) Internationalization of the School's activities. We assumed that the impact of the project would reduce the causes of the school's weaknesses and increase the strengths (shown in the SWOT analysis). In the area of "Didactics", we wanted to: -increase the motivation to learn English among learners school aged 7-9 through the use of new didactic solutions, -increase the motivation to study before. mathematics-science among students of the school aged 14-15 through the application of new solutions, - increase the use of ICT in the didactic process. In the area of "International." we wanted: - introduce 2 new forms of international cooperation (job shadowing; online meetings of groups of students), - increase the number of teachers involved in the internationalization. We also wanted the project to enable personal development and strengthen the profile of the teachers to prevent burnout. and falling into a routine.
SP 2 in Wadowice applied for the implementation of this project to improve two areas of the school's activity: in the field of teaching and internationalization of the school's activities. These areas were selected as a result of a multi-area SWOT analysis of the institution based on the analysis of students' needs and skills, conclusions from the evaluation of previous projects, analysis of teach. results, conclusions of the Teams of the Pedag. Council and analysis of the external situation. The analysis revealed the strengths and weaknesses of the facility. On the basis of certain weaknesses, members of the Pedag. Council identified the need to eliminate or improve them and developed a 7-point European School Develop. Plan, assuming that in their implementation the above-mentioned goals will be possible thanks to the knowledge and skills of teachers acquired during methodological training and job shadowing visits under the Erasmus+ program. Members of the Pedag. Council recognized that the SP 2 is ready to apply for EU funds and implement the Erasmus + project on its own, based on the experience gained thanks to participation in the POWER project in 2016-18, in which the teacher from the school was the commune coordinator.
