Students with special educational needs make up almost 40% of all students in our school. They are covered by various forms of assistance due to specific learning difficulties. Every year, the number of students with whom their parents returned to Poland from emigration and students from other countries (mainly from Ukraine and Belarus) is also increasing. Through the participation of teachers in the project, we wanted to influence the key needs of the school, such as providing teachers with optimal conditions for professional development, and consequently, providing students with optimal conditions for education and upbringing, in particular supporting the development of students with special educational needs and those who have problems adapting to new conditions. We wanted to influence the development of teachers' competences in innovative teaching methods, promoting the values of tolerance and social inclusion, improving teachers' language skills, improving the skills of managers in order to manage the school more effectively, giving the school a European dimension.
