Thanks to Erasmus+ project, first of all we wanted to develop teachers' language skills. Moreover, we also wished to empower the school's European dimension as it would become a facility offering teachers as well as students chances to go abroad to other European countries for apprenticeships or professional training. By introducing new teaching methods and improving teachers' qualifications, we also wanted to increase students' motivation to attend school and improve general teaching results.
Taking part, as a vocational school, in an Erasmus+ project: Key Action 1 Staff mobility gives the school a great opportunity for development and increasing the teaching effectiveness. Teacher's paticipation in the previous project was quite successful, and that is why it seemed natural to follow with writing a new one and applying for funding. Moreover, taking part in language and methodology courses gives teachers a unique chance for professional development, learning new competences and increasing one's language skills. Apart from formal education, teachers had the chance to get to know different cultures, make new acquaintances, develop their social skills by e.g. working in an international team.
