- We were interested in establishing partnership with our counterpart in Finland, having known that their educational system is widely thought as having excellent results. We believed that observations, speaking with teachers, students and school authorities will give us new solutions both methodological and system. - Widening the English language knowledge by our pedagogical workers enabled a new view on, thank to the cooperation, the richness of European culture and science, and, thus, passing the competencies gained by our teachers to our students. - Knowing new methodological instruments, implementing new methods of teaching in our school, upgrading the quality of teaching general subjects and English language. - Innovative and comprehensive usage of new technologies, enabling more individual work with students, making it more efficient and attractive.
After consultations with general subject teachers we found out that: - there is a necessity in development of competencies in English language among the big number of teachers. It was agreed that it will enable more efficient use of, e.g. the Internet, refining professional techniques, and taking part with our students in different international programs .Our aim was to create favourable conditions to remove language barriers, widen mental horizons, personal and social teachers' competencies; - need in making the work of our school more international, establishing relationship with partner organizations since the mission of our institution is shaping the citizen of Europe open to cultural values of the world, prepared to life in dynamically developing world; - trying to fullfil projects in scope of eTwinning platform and - in the future - KA2 action. The aim of our school is, inter alia, widening of professional education of our students, having possibilities of international apprenticeship; - will of widenning the contact net with general subject and foreign languages teachers from other European countries, which will enable the whole school to fully understand the workshops, educational systems working in European countries.
