The main goal of the project was to increase the language skills and competences as well as the greater use of ICT tools by our teachers. The staff use the acquired knowledge and competences in their work with students, both in classes and in extracurricular activities in the form of the "Polyglot Club" classes, that is why it was so important that teachers of various subjects participated in this project. However, the management treated participation in the project as a very important step towards improving communication skills in English, which is used in foreign travels related to competitions in the field of robotics and foreign mobility when it comes to various projects. Until now, some problems have been noticed in communicating in English not only during the competitions themselves, but also when traveling to these competitions. The number of people able to coordinate and implement international projects has increased. The Robotics Center operating in our school, makes the school well-prepared in terms of infrastructure, while the weak point that needed improvement was the preparation of the staff. And this served as a guideline for the appropriate selection of trainings.
The title of the project is: "Europeanization through Development. The implementation of the project was a big step forward in the process of internationalization of our school through activities which resulted in the preparation of staff for broadly understood international cooperation and some changes in the approach to teaching methods. Bearing in mind the changes that are caused by easy access to new technologies, they were planned in such a way as to make greater use of these facilities. It was associated not only with equipping, but above all with the appropriate preparation of the staff, which in the long run increased the quality of teaching in our school and strengthened its prestige locally and regionally and gave it the character of an institution with European dimension due to the cooperation with schools from Spain, Italy, Hungary, the Netherlands and North Macedonia, with the intention of expanding this group. The project was implemented during the global coronavirus epidemic, which was associated with major problems in the timely implementation of tasks, but the subject area of mobility and training in the field of ICT had a very positive impact on the appropriate use of acquired knowledge during distance learning.
