Objectives

We set ourselves the following goals within the project: - learning in 2 years by 14 teachers of mathematics, physics, computer science, technology and early childhood education teachers of teaching methods of programming / coding and robotics, - 14 primary school teachers of mathematics, physics, computer science, technology and early education teachers acquire the skills to use programming / coding and robotics in teaching their subjects within 2 years, - acquiring, within 2 years, by 14 primary school teachers of mathematics, physics, computer science, technology and early childhood education teachers, of knowledge and skills to use modern technology (interactive boards, touch TVs) and educational services (https: //www.educationcity. com, YouTube.com, realphysicslive.com) - creating conditions for learning from each other for teachers who will not participate in project trips and are interested in the issues of programming / coding in education, - development of 14 teachers' skills in using websites to search for foreign partners for their own educational projects

Background

We applied for the implementation of the project because: - there is a great demand for the implementation of new methods and tools of work in primary education that would stimulate students to greater involvement as well as allow them to learn through play, - parents expect more creativity and commitment from teachers and the school, in particular in stimulating students to learn mathematics and science, - learning programming / coding already in early childhood education, combined with robotics, strengthens students' interest in STEM subjects, thanks to which it is easier to master the material from the core curriculum at subsequent stages of education, - teachers notice that students willingly use modern teaching techniques (multimedia boards, computers, tablets) - teachers' language competences in English are insufficient in relation to the challenges and needs (international projects, internet resources in this language), - education through experience, with a large share of practical activities, is more effective and efficient than the use of classic administration methods, - pilot classes on ozobot programming brought enormous interest among students and parents in grades 1-4.
