Objectives

The main goal of the project was strengthening of language, communication and intercultural competence among the teachers which are necessary to build up and develop the attitude of tolerance and openness among our students. The specific goals are as follows:1. Increase in the number of teachers using English on communication level enabling them active participation in international projects. 2.Equipping the teachers in new skills including methods and techniques enabling sides of the conflict ( among the students) making a dialogue 3. Improvement of the students’ social competence observed in lessening the number of improper behavior towards the students having different opinions, coming from different countries. 4.developing the attitude of tolerance and openness among the students ( as well as their families). In our view the best way to increase the teachers’ competence in terms of multiculturality and language competence are foreign mobilities. Teachers’ personal experience and engagement make them more authentic while building up the attitude of tolerance and openness.

Background

Our school applied for the project after analyzing the school's needs and possible educational development at European level. The project "A Dialogue as a Way to Tolerance and Cooperation in Multicultural Environment" matches the school's priorities and objectives of the European School's Plan. We applied because we wanted to improve the teachres' skills and competence especially in terms of English language and to educate and give support to our students in terms of building up their proper social attitude that is tolerance and openess towards different cultures and other countries. Erasmus+ projects are definitely the best way to achieve the mentioned aims that is why we decided to apply for the project.
