The main goals of our project were: - making the educational process more attractive and increasing the motivation to continue learning by students, - strengthening therapeutic and educational activities by introducing drama elements to the educational program of the school, - developing students' life and social competences and implementing them, - creating a program promoting a healthy, active lifestyle, - strengthening foreign cooperation.
Our main assumption for the implementation of the project at the Special School Complex named after Janusz Korczak in Gliwice was to develop cooperation with foreign countries and re-create its image and strengthen the school. Our school is a special school, so we wanted to show that through the implementation of international projects, special schools improve the quality of education in work with students with disabilities. The impelmentation of new methods is to confirm our students that despite the fact that they attend a special school, they receive the best European standards of education. The project was aimed at showing the benefits of participating in international projects. Extending European cooperation by strengthening international cooperation has brought new opportunities for teachers, schools and students. Thanks to applying for new projects enabling participation in the mobility of our youth in student exchanges and internships abroad, we have created a school worth attending.
