The main goal of the project was a weekly course of 15 teachers of the Construction School in Opole, thanks to which they expanded their professional experience and acquired new and improved qualifications and professional skills, which in turn will contribute to a greater understanding of young people, introducing methods that are much more interesting than the previous ones. Through the implementation of the project, we particularly wanted to achieve: - an increase of the professional and personal potential of participants; - an increase in participants' language skills and competences; - an increase in the skills of teachers and their competences, which, if necessary, will expand their opportunities in the constantly changing labor market, - ability to deal with difficult situations, including the ability to negotiate and mediate (at work and outside of it); - validate the acquired skills of participants during the course and enrich their CVs through the Europass CV.
There were many reasons for applying for this project. Many years of experience in the activities of the Erasmus + program shows that this way of acquiring knowledge and skills by both students and teachers is extremely effective. The correlation of many areas: professional, linguistic, cultural, and social means that we develop in many directions and achieve a significant increase in these skills in a relatively short time. Not only the participants benefit from Erasmus projects, but also the school and the local community. The school, through the implementation of projects, is forced to constantly evaluate the content provided. Contact with the international environment allows us to learn new methods and means of teaching and new technologies and trends in a given professional area. Polish education does not offer any other way of getting to know the above-mentioned areas. The only possibility for international development is within the Erasmus + program. The local community also benefits from the effects of these projects, mainly thanks to workshops conducted for employees of other schools.
