Through the project we aimed to achieve the following objectives: 1. to increase teachers' qualification and improve their linguistic and methodological competencies so that qualified teachers with language skills can provide students with a wide range of knowledge and develop the professional competences necessary for the labour market. 2.to use and implementation of modern technology as an alternative to raise the level of education in the organisation, use of innovative tools. 3.to minimise early school leaving by poor learners and those with special educational needs - by providing language support and making therapeutic and speech therapy classes more attractive and helping pupils in lessons. 4.to improve the quality of management using the job shadowing method. 5to iImprove group work and conflict management and acquire new conflict resolution skills - minimise conflict and improve group management. 6.to raise the European dimension and prepare the establishment to welcome immigrant children.
1.The staff of Zespół Szkół Agrotechnicznych i Ogólnokształcących in Żywiec applied for the project because they wanted to improve and enhance the weak areas of the organisation's activities, such as teachers' low language competences, insufficient innovative knowledge and teaching methods, poor competences of using modern technologies and teaching methods in everyday work with students, high numbers of early school leavers and students with special needs, insufficient new solutions, including group management, insufficient preparation for accepting students of other nationalities. The group of teachers who enrolled in the project decided to develop their competences and acquire new skills in order to influence the development of the school, to raise the level of education in the school, to improve its image in the community, to enrich the activities offered to the students, to add variety to the lessons, to enrich them with new teaching methods and thus to reduce early school leaving.
